Best Paper Award

On Friday November 27, 2015, Keri Pekaar received the Best Paper Award from the organizers of the Dutch conference of Work and Organizational Psychologists (WAOP). The paper is entitled "Why the emotions of other people matter: A closer look at the link between emotional intelligence and job performance" (Pekaar, Van der Linden, Bakker & Born, 2015). The paper reports on two quantitative diary studies, one among mediators and one among salespeople, and investigates how daily management of emotions is related to objective performance. The paper is currently under review. The picture features the happy price winner - Congratulations Keri!


Who Am I?

I'm a professor of Organizational Psychology with an international focus. I work at Erasmus University Rotterdam, and Lingnan University in Hong Kong. My research interests include positive organizational psychology, the Job Demands - Resources model, job crafting, burnout, and the work-family interface.
