Distinguished Visiting Professor

Prof. Dr. Arnold Bakker and Prof. Dr. Evangelia Demerouti have been appointed as Distinguished Visiting Professors at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. They will start teaching in 2015, and will cover their major research topics, including employee work engagement, the Job Demands–Resources model, job crafting, strengths use, and job performance. Prof. Bakker is also Adjunct Professor at Lingnan University, Hong Kong (2010-now).

Who Am I?

I'm a professor of Organizational Psychology with an international focus. I work at Erasmus University Rotterdam, and Lingnan University in Hong Kong. My research interests include positive organizational psychology, the Job Demands - Resources model, job crafting, burnout, and the work-family interface.
